In woodworking and decorative arts, refinishing refers to the act of repairing or reapplying the wood finishing on an object. In practice, this may be apply to the paint or wood finish top coat, lacquer or varnish.

(Refinish) The process of applying a completely new finish to a wooden or metal wood. The refinish involves removing the old finish prior to applying the new finish.

He was happy to pose when I asked if I could take his photo and suggested his spray booth when I asked him to pick a spot. What looks like a little storefront on Madison actually extends back and over several storefronts and he's busy enough that he's got an assistant. Did a perfect repair on a broken table leg for $40. What a great discovery!

...this is the kind of stuff I do when I can't be on the computer during bad weather.
We had tornados this morning...and all the kids at the school had to take cover. Scary as hell! Painting was calming though & I've been meaning to do it for years.

The top will have glitter & be sealed with resin. This will go back into my craft room when done...but might be too pretty to work on!
